i could not be in Seattle today to honor the memory of my dear friend Beverly but the portrait painter and artist that she was would have loved this sign for an upcoming exhibit to be hosted by the Art Institute of Chicago...

though i was in the city for less than 48 hours, my college roommate and i still managed to meet up on the rooftop of The Robey Hotel to share memories and a toast to celebrate our Bev's magnificent life!
