to market, to market
24 hours in Santa Monica, Sunday, December 11, 2011
1. walk on the beach, don't forget your gloves and a shawl.... it is barely 50 degrees ...
2. pass the holiday decorations at Shutters, refined and divine....
3. head to Main Street to catch the Farmers' Market, follow the lady with the basket....
4. take in all the produce stands, grains, greens and everything in between....
5. rent an xmas tree, really...... it's the berries!
6. pet a goat or ride a pony.....
7. ride a wave ....
8. shop til you drop, did someone say vintage?
9. upgrade from a basket to a cart....or several!
10. savor a citrus salad and prosecco, under the heat lamps, rooftop at Santa Monica Place....
to market, to market, to buy a fat pig, home again, home again, dancing a jig.
to market, to market, to buy a plum bun, home again, home again, market is done. Mother Goose
the Farmers' Market celebrated 30 years in September.
