bloom

Rudi  Molacek
Tulips 5 New York 1990

at the exact needed moment in the midst of yesterday's dark rainy afternoon, Staley Wise Gallery published an email "flower show" of stunning blooms that were a visual gift to both the eyes and the soul.  one is pictured above and you can view the others at www.staleywise.com

i loved the quote they included by David Hockney who had shared a new floral work of his own a week ago to brighten our world, "Do remember that they can't cancel the spring."

this past week, i was so grateful for walks in the park and spring. social distancing protocols do make for singular moments of beauty with nature and sharper focus on life in bloom...

be safe! xx
