can you see the beautiful lace trim which makes up part of his wings?

inside, magic carpets in fuschia create a backdrop for the growing line to see the man in red.....

 

 

outside,  a pair of rabbit ears peek out from under a garden chair in the powdery drift..

 

 

 

 

inside, two girls, sisters perhaps?, with braided pigtails pose patiently like Degas dancers...

 

 

  









outside, pull up a chair and cavort with whimsical creatures of land, sea and air...

inside, have a good cry on Santa's lap...even a parent's playful jig cannot coax....

 



soon, visions of sugar plums will come, and a white Christmas!

Nutcracker Sweet

a wet weekend in the city but everyone still went about their holiday business....

i stepped out of my apartment last weekend to head downtown on the subway and meet a friend for a late lunch in the west village.   quite by accident, i ran into an awful lot of orange..... follow the fun, all around the town!

Prints Charming

we are all so hot and bothered by this heat! 
could that be why the profusion of prints in motion yesterday on the street?

stripes, pindots, color blocking, with a touch of patriotism and no shortage of totes...
