case study
during quarantine, west end avenue is closed from 96th street to 86th street to offer more freedom of movement on the upper west side.
i do not walk down it often but when i do, i notice this young woman more or less in the same spot, standing in the crosswalk or sitting in the center island, usually wearing her denim jacket, always with her laptop and phone, possibly in a twist on wfh status...
i saw her yesterday and wondered if she is perhaps creating some kind of film documenting her day, but she is so focused and intent that i did not wish to disturb her by asking.
